Saturday, April 21 was a glorious day in Birmingham, Alabama. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and a gorgeous young couple, Tara and Jason, said “I do” in the Hill Garden located in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The setting was perfect for the vibrant garden wedding Tara had always envisioned while the KG Designs team added all the right floral elements utilizing bright oranges along with rich hues of purple and green to pull it all together.
On the catering side, Tamara Archer of Kathy G & Company acted at Tara and Jason’s event coordinator for their Gardens Cafe reception – And the results of her tireless work were nothing short of fabulous.
The menu consisted of several Kathy G favorites, including a server attended SHRIMP AND GRITS STATION with fresh Gulf Shrimp slow simmered in Creole Sauce and served over Southern Style White Cheddar Grits in a cosmo glass.
Other delicious items served to the nearly 175 guests were: Honey Maple Ham on White Cheddar Biscuits with Orange Butter; Pecan-Crusted Chicken Bites with Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce; Kathy G’s famous Mini BLT’s with Apple-Smoked Bacon, Arugula & Roma Tomato Topped with Remoulade Sauce; and Vertical Vegetable Crudite with Dips of Pimento Cheese, Hummus & Ranch.
So many great Alabama wedding pros helped this wedding run flawlessly, but we must thank Hali and Micah of H+M Photo for the stunning photos seen in this posting.
And we can’t thank Tara and Jason enough for allowing us to play such an integral role in their big day.
