The Art Blink Gala
The annual Art Blink Gala fundraiser had over 500 guests in attendance and benefited the UAB Cancer Center. Local known artists are creating masterpieces while guest enjoy the art show all while eating Kathy G’s amazing culinary artistic creations. Kathy G. & Company designed an art inspired menu full of color and creativity. Natalie Andrews, our senior coordinator, teamed up with our culinary team led by Chefs Jason Mezrano and Allan Bullen to create a specialty menu presented as Works of Art. The Graffiti Bistro Meat Station allowed guests to “paint “ their plates with brushes and squeeze bottles of colorful “paints”;  Chimichurri, Port Wine Glaze, Cilantro Oil, Annato Oil, Beet Jus, Blood Orange and Mint Coulis. The Ceviche Trio was served from large ice bowls each in a unique vessel. Desserts were designed as a work of art where guests selected mousse “shots” from a “Workfare” standing in a large antique frame.
