Pretty in Pink Baby Naming Party for Baby Emory

After the birth of a Jewish baby girl, as a tradition, the parents host a baby naming party. The Goldberg’s threw a pretty, posh, pink party in honor of their newborn baby, Emory. Emory’s party was beautifully picturesque and perfect for a little girl. From the food to the decor, the party was daintily dressed in pretty pinks and delicate daisies. The party began with passed hors d’oeuvres as guests arrived. The dual hors d’oeuvres included Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwiches with Almond Encrusted Edges and Belgian Endive with Whipped Cheese and Raspberry. Guest were also greeted with a specialty cocktail: a pink sugar rimmed Pink Lemonade Martini. A delicious buffet held a wide selection of delectable items that included Beef Tenderloin Sliders, Pigs In A Blanket, Sushi Cocktail, West Indies Crab Salad, Mac N’ Cheese Bites, Watermelon and Tomato Salad; Mini Chicken Skewers, Portobello Pannini and Berries tossed in Grand Marnier. A baby lamb made of daisies was the centerpiece of the main buffet table. The little lamb wore a pink gingham bow around its neck. The sweet, white lamb centerpiece was the perfect representation to celebrate the birth of a newborn baby girl. Keeping with the baby pink theme, a splendid  table full of delicious treats was available for all types of taste buds. The table itself was eye candy with beautiful glass dishes filled with candy and pink mini desserts. Strawberry Mouse topped with a Fresh Strawberry, Cake Pops Iced in Pink White Chocolate; Marshmallows Half Dipped in Pink Chocolate, Encrusted with Crushed Pistachio and White Chocolate Flakes and Assorted Pink Candies wowed guests. The Sutton – Price wedding at Sonnet House in Montgomery was an evening to remember! The couple’s outdoor bash utilized splashes of pinks, adding a fun, summer feel. The pink lighting hues really popped and made a chic contrast with the white seating tables and furniture as evening fell. A large ice sculpture with the couple’s hot pink, glowing monogram served as one of the focal points of the reception. The ice sculpture was surrounded by matching pink martini glasses for the special Strawberry-Infused Vodka Martinis. The traditional, Southern buffet had a unique Asian-inspired twist. In addition to the Mini Hamburgers, BLTs, Vegetable Crudite, Endive Petals, Catfish Cakes, White Cheddar Turkey Biscuits, Stuffed Mushrooms and a Cascading Fruit Display, the couple served Sushi Spoons and had a Thai Noodle Station. The Asian Sushi Spoons held a California Roll with Wasabi and Pickled Ginger. The Thai Noodle Station offered guests Pan Sauteed Vegetables and Rice noodles with Ginger Chicken, Snow Peas, Mung Bean Sprouts, Shiitake Mushrooms, Napa Cabbage, Cilantro, Garlic and Scallions. All of these fabulous ingredients were cooked with Sesame Seed Oil, Soy Sauce, Mirin, Rice Wine Vinegar and Oyster Sauce. Casey and Simeon Wed at Lake Martin

Casey and Simeon wed at the bride’s family home on picturesque Lake Martin. This elegant summer wedding was personal and intimate. Friends and family gathered by the water for a lake-view ceremony. After the “I do’s,” the couple was joined by guests on the patio of the family’s home for the reception. Under light draping, the tables were covered in blue and tan – complimenting the lake and outdoor space. Gold candelabras, greenery, lanterns and pastel flowers topped the tables. The lush  florals complemented the natural beauty of the outdoor space as well as brought in splashes of color. Black and white wedding photographs of the bride and groom’s loved ones hung on the wall near the main dinner table. The candles and strung lights twinkled as evening fell, creating a soft-hearted ambiance. Hors d’oeuvres of Roma Tomato and Fresh Mozzarella Caprese with Basil Pesto, Crispy Phyllo Tarts with Soy Ginger Thai Flank Steak, Wasabi Creme and Toasted Peanuts; Scallops Ceviche and Citrus Marinated Crab Claws were passed as guests arrived at the reception location. The beautifully dressed tables were pre-set with Watermelon-Tomato Salad with Feta Cheese, Shaved Red Onion, Fresh Mint & Honey Balsamic Dressing served over a bed of Baby Spinach. The dinner was a buffet filled with Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Red Wine Sauce, Chicken Kabob Skewers, BBQ Rubbed Sliced Pork Tenderloin, Rosemary Roasted New Potatoes, Shrimp and Grits, Sauteed Haricot Vert and Succotash. Simeon chose a dessert table, opposed to a traditional groom’s cake. His table of sweets included Tiramisu with Espresso Creme, Chocolate Mousse and Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee topped with Blueberries.
